What we collect
- Your brand name, contact email, uploaded logo, and chosen laptop placement.
- Booking references, payment and refund status, and PayPal transaction references needed to reconcile your booking.
- Technical request information processed by our hosting and service providers to operate and secure the website.
How we use it
We use this information to reserve placements, process and confirm payments, display paid sponsorships, manage refunds, and respond to booking questions. Your contact email is for managing your booking; it is not displayed in the public laptop map.
What becomes visible
Your brand name and logo appear in the purchased placement after payment is confirmed. Unpaid and refunded bookings are hidden from the sponsor display. A logo already viewed by another person may have been saved or copied by them.
Storage and payment providers
Booking records and logo files are stored using Supabase. Logo files are kept in private storage and served by the website only for confirmed paid bookings. PayPal handles the payment checkout under its own privacy policy. This website does not collect or store your full card number or PayPal password.
Our website hosting provider also processes information required to deliver the site. External links, including X and PayPal, take you to services with their own privacy practices. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser.
Browser storage
The checkout uses browser session storage to retain the booking reference while you return from PayPal. Owner sign-in uses authentication storage to support profile and campaign management. These functions help the site maintain your checkout or signed-in session.
Retention and requests
Booking information is retained as needed to deliver the sponsorship, handle refunds and disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact @JohnHatson2 on X. Some transaction records may need to be retained to fulfill those obligations.
